This review and more can be seen at: I really should just put in a corny one-liner how its brilliance has rendered me speechless and call it a day. Eventually, Chelsea realizes she cannot stay silent forever. Saving June had greater emotional impact, but in a lot of ways, I loved Speechless more.
The writing is splendid and flowed so easily. But then with her vow came a deeper understanding of human suffering and the consequences of doing the right thing as well as doing something that doesn’t seem harmful, but turns out to lead to disastrous repercussions.
At first I did find the vow of silence a tiny bit unrealistic. That was until it caused a terrible and heavy co Speechless is one remarkable and outstanding novel that handled harringhon very insightful issue with great depth and profundity in it. Chelsea defininitely takes an unusual road in terms of dealing with this, but that is pseechless made me want to read this book in the first place, so I certainly won’t complain.
It could have been schmaltzy as hell, but just worked out beautifully. So she’s ostracized and put into a position where no one likes her at school or are at least cautious about her in the community.
For all teens and teen at heart! One thing lead to another and a boy from school ends up in the hospital after a savage attack.
I did slightly tire of the teenage-y speak, like, you know. Kristen, on the other hand, I was glad not to have had more out of.
Speechless by Hannah Harrington
Before she can give him her heart, she wants to be absolutely sure she’s a girl worth being loved and who can give as much honesty and love in return without hurting anyone in the process. I can cut myself some slack somes. Like I said before, Chelsea sticks out her chin, holds her nose up high above her stiff upper lip, and refuses to let the bullying get to her, even though it’s clear to see it is taking an effect on her.
How does she see the good when there is so much bad? The Goddess Test Aimee Carter. People begin to see the inner girl she kept hidden beneath a fake front for so long. So, after all of this glowing praise for Speechlesswhy am I giving it four stars?
Page 1 of 1 Start over Page 1 of 1. I don’t like Pina Coladas, but I do enjoy getting caught in the rain. I loved the interactions with Chelsea and Sam, and his bravery for opening himself up to her.
His breakdown was touching and beautiful and sad.
Book Review: Speechless by Hannah Harrington
I love how Harrigton wrote her character, she was so flawed but was very realistically written. Oddly enough, romance was once again my favorite part.
Dude, this is a no-brainer. And I more than enjoyed this book. The story itself speeculess even better. I feel like I should give this book to Jamie McGuire, and sperchless her to read and learn. Chelsea’s friends, Asha, Sam, Dex, and Lou might just be some of my favorite characters I’ve had the pleasure to read about so far this year.

Can Chelsea face what she did that night? The Immortal Rules Julie Kagawa. So yes, I totally felt for her and I thought she was brave when it really counted.
Unlike Bella Swan and every sprechless YA protagonist that followed her, Chelsea likes being popular and using the power that comes with it.
But I really liked the romantic aspect of Speechlessnonetheless – I just loved Sam so much. And Speechless gives you, as a reader, a look at what can happen when you show courage and stand up for what’s right instead of giving into hate. I really, really liked Speechless.
