I salvaged this book from my mother’s donation pile to the library and found that in re-reading it again I loved it just as much as I did when I was in high school.

It’s even more awesome to learn more about the Atan culture while in Atan, and come to understand Mirtai a little better. Don’t get me wrong I like the trilogy – it extends the characters we have already met, who are likeable enough to care about, and answers some of the questions that the Elenium raised.
